Persol + Cassina
Shared languages for research design
We are pleased to present the new project resulting from the unprecedented encounter between Persol and Cassina.
The exchange between a historic eyewear brand and an icon of the furniture world gives rise to a shared aesthetic, in which materials, proportions, and attention to detail intertwine with elegance and sophistication.
The Collection
The collaboration takes shape in an exclusive collection that reinterprets the aesthetic codes of the two brands, where detail and materials take center stage.
The Persol Cassina eyewear collection consists of two limited-edition models: the first comes in the iconic black and havana colors.
The second, a collectible edition of just 500 numbered pieces in a blue gradient shade, comes paired with a tray designed by Patricia Urquiola, Cassina’s designer and art director. This project embodies a refined balance between aesthetics, function, and experimentation.
Inspired by a seal, this pocket organizer is designed to hold sunglasses and other small everyday items. The matching Persol sunglasses,
made with an innovative base composed of recycled minerals,
are accented with acetate inserts.
In Dialogue
A conversation among icons of Italian craftsmanship
The collaboration between Persol and Cassina reflects a shared vision of “Made in Italy”—an expression of style, design culture, and creativity. For both brands, design stems from a constant dialogue between the past and the present, craftsmanship and innovation, heritage and the avant-garde.
