ANNIS KOUNELLIS, ANTHOLOGICAL EXHIBITION AT THE PRADA FOUNDATION, VENICE
Ca ’Corner della Regina, in Venice, is venue of the Prada Foundation and open the doors to a large retrospective dedicated to Jannis Kounellis, one of the most important exponents of Arte Povera.
Kuonellis' research uses various tools, such as raw sacks full of grains, the symbol of the goods that start and take different directions from the various ports, to the iron of the balance containing coffee, a message also for the sense of smell, but also the iron in contrast with other materials, newspapers, flowers, stones. And gold, a wall covered with gold leaves, as opposed to the lead of planters. Kounellis himself calls himself a painter who uses materials other than canvases and brushes. An experience not to be missed.
